More than 60 reporters and about 300 guests converged to talk BYU football this week.
The football kickoff at the BYU Broadcast Building didn’t bring much earth-shaking news, but it delivered. From quotables, photo ops, serious reflection to humor and domination of social media, specifically Twitter, it was productive. The reunion of the 1996 Cotton Bowl team was a nice touch.
While the MWC, Pac-12 and other conferences host their individual events, those schools are limited to a few coaches and a couple of players from each school.
