Bless Tom Holmoe and his video to BYU fans last week.
He hit the right enthusiastic tone. He provided the right spin to Cougar life as a football independent. He highlighted positive gains made by the athletic department on a national scene, illustrated by the number of teams currently ranked in the top 25 under the BYU banner and pointed out the ability of his athletic department to accomplish more with less Power 5 conference money.
And when he praised BYU’s national fan base for showing up in Phoenix; Landover, Maryland; East Lansing, Michigan and even this last trip to Cincinnati, he was right on target; it’s been downright impressive.
