PROVO — Careers in LaVell Edwards Stadium for Taysom Hill and Jamaal Williams came to a close late Saturday night in a mistake-filled game.
BYU's offense was wobbly at best. Much of that was due to a lack of mismatches with Utah State's defense, especially the secondary.
And the Cougar defense, led by an interception by Fred Warner and fumble scoop and run for a TD by Michael Shelton, outshined the dynamic duo.
But a salute is in order, none the less, for two athletes whose stories converged through a challenge time in BYU football history.
