SALT LAKE CITY — Danny Gelalich picked an opportune time — at least as far as 24th-ranked BYU is concerned — to hit his first career homer. The sophomore outfielder, who batted ninth in the order, belted a grand slam in the eighth inning to lift the Cougars to a 10-3 victory over Utah Tuesday night at Smith’s Ballpark.
