Both teams appear to be improving. BYU (7-3) enters Saturday's showdown as a winner of five straight, toppling No. 11 Texas A&M last week. Utah (5-2) has yet to win away from the Huntsman Center but rallied impressively to beat Creighton behind 28 points and 19 rebounds from 6-foot-6 sophomore forward Emily Potter.
Potter was sidelined by an ACL tear as BYU prevailed at the Huntsman Center last December, and the Cougars can no longer lean on forward Morgan Bailey, who totaled 18 points and 10 rebounds in her final rivalry game before graduating.
"We're going to have our hands full," Judkins said, adding that BYU has faced solid post players at Oklahoma, Georgia and Utah Valley, but "I don't think they were as good as Potter.
