BYU DID IT AGAIN.
One week after beating Tennessee in double OT, Dayan Ghanwoloku sealed this victory with an interception as BYU beat #24 USC, 30-27.
Zach Wilson threw for 280 yards with 2 total TDs and Ty’Son Williams rushed for 99 yards to lead the Cougar offense. Wilson came up with some huge improvised plays to keep BYU’s offense alive and engineer a fourth quarter comeback.
BYU’s defense gave up 452 yards, but they pressured USC freshman QB Kedon Slovis into 3 interceptions and forced USC to abandon the passing game in the second half.
