SOUTH JORDAN — Reigning Utah Women’s State Amateur champion Kendra Dalton won the Utah Women’s Stroke Play Championship with a two-shot victory Thursday at Glenmoor Golf Course.
Dalton, who hails from North Carolina and will be a senior at BYU, had rounds of 70 and 74 for a 144 total and defeated Cougar teammate Rose Huang and former State Am champ Kelsey Chugg by two shots. Naomi Soifua and Kiselya Plewe tied for fourth at 148.
Elizabeth Jones earned low senior honors with a 163, edging Annette Gaiotti (164) and Sue Nyhus (165).
