The accolades keep coming in for BYU Women’s Volleyball and individual players after a huge weekend.
After coaches voted the Cougars as the No. 3 team in the nation in the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Monday, they followed it up by naming BYU outside hitter Veronica Jones-Perry as the National Player of the Week.
The awards and jump in the polls come after the Cougars swept the BYU Nike Invitational over the weekend, including a five-set thriller over No. 1 Stanford on Friday night.
Jones-Perry was outstanding in all three of the matches.
