It took four sets rather than three for BYU Women’s Volleyball, but the Cougars stayed unbeaten on the season and opened up a massive conference lead.
BYU took down San Diego on Friday night in the Smith Fieldhouse, opening up a three-game lead in the West Coast Conference standings with only five games left to play.
The Cougars improve to 23-0 on the season and 13-0 in conference play. They’d have to lose at least three of their final five to miss out on the conference title.
San Diego dropped to 10-3 in conference, and they’re tied with Pepperdine for second in the WCC.
