BYU Women’s Volleyball opens huge WCC lead with win over San Diego

It took four sets rather than three for BYU Women’s Volleyball, but the Cougars stayed unbeaten on the season and opened up a massive conference lead.

BYU took down San Diego on Friday night in the Smith Fieldhouse, opening up a three-game lead in the West Coast Conference standings with only five games left to play.

The Cougars improve to 23-0 on the season and 13-0 in conference play. They’d have to lose at least three of their final five to miss out on the conference title.

San Diego dropped to 10-3 in conference, and they’re tied with Pepperdine for second in the WCC.
