PROVO ---- The BYU women's volleyball team started sluggish, but finished strong to by visiting Ohio in four sets (19-25, 25-23, 25-17, 26-24) in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday.
Senior Alexa Gray led the way with a game-high 21 kills and three blocks. Junior Amy Boswell contributed 18 kills on a phenomenal .516 hitting percentage, while contributing four blocks of her own.
“Our passing was phenomenal tonight. Congrats to Alohi (Robins-Hardy) and Camry (Willardson) for the sets they were putting up tonight," Boswell said of her performance. "It makes my job really easy when they give me sets like those.
