BYU wide receivers coach Ben Cahoon can add another notch on an accomplished playing career.
The Montreal Alouettes announced Wednesday they will retire Cahoon's No. 86 jersey during halftime of the team's game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 29. Cahoon's will be the 11th number retired by the Canadian Football League team.
Cahoon played all 13 of his CFL seasons with the Alouettes after playing collegiately at Ricks College and BYU. The Utah native and Mountain View High alum who has Canadian parents was selected sixth overall in the 1998 CFL draft.
Cahoon finished his CFL career as the league's all-time receptions leader with 1,017.
