Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, the West Coast Conference has postponed the start of the fall olympic sports seasons until at least September 24.
The decision affects BYU’s cross country teams, as well as women’s soccer and volleyball. BYU is defending conference champions in three of the four sports postponed.
Men’s and women’s cross country hope to continue their dominance in the WCC and in the sport in general, with both teams coming off their best ever seasons. The men’s cross country team won the National Championship over traditional power NAU while the women’s team took second.
