Number nine BYU women’s volleyball beat San Francisco and Santa Clara at the Smith Fieldhouse on Thursday and Saturday in back-to-back sweeps.
BYU first played San Francisco on Thursday night and dominated the Dons from the start. Hitting .482 in the first set and holding the Dons to -.087. BYU won the set easily by a score of 25-11.
The second set started slowly from the Cougars, who went down 8-5 to the Dons. BYU made some adjustments and bounced back, and after tying it up at 10, went on a 15-4 run to win the set 25-14.
