Junior outside hitter Veronica Jones-Perry led No. 9 BYU women's volleyball past San Francisco in straight sets (25-12, 25-17, 25-12) Thursday night at the Smith Fieldhouse.

"Great team effort tonight," BYU head coach Heather Olmstead. "Everyone was ready to play and contributed when called upon. We had great energy and stayed focused the entire match."

Jones-Perry fueled the win with 19 kills, four digs and two service aces. McKenna Miller added 12 kills in the win. Lyndie Haddock contributed 31 assists and four digs, while Mary Lake had a team-high 17 digs.

Seven Jones-Perry kills helped pace the Cougars (26-2, 15-1 West Coast Conference) to an early 9-2 advantage in the first set.
