13th-ranked BYU Women’s Volleyball traveled to Kansas this week to participate in the Shocker Volleyball Classic with Wichita State, No. 3 Texas, and VCU from Thursday through Saturday.
The Cougars played host Wichita State first on Thursday evening. The Cougars opened the first set strong, leading by a score of 9-2. However, they allowed the Shockers back into it, and would tie things up at 22. The Shockers would then take the lead over the Cougars and win the set 25-23.
BYU would reset and dominate the second set, winning by a score of 25-16 in the set.
