TEMPE, Ariz. — Jacob Foutz headlined the first day of competition for No. 4/24 BYU track and field with a career record in the hammer throw at the Sun Angel Classic on Friday.
Foutz earned a mark of 63.30m/207-8 to take second place in the men’s hammer premiere heat. The senior’s toss beat his previous personal best of 61.
