PROVO — The No. 13-ranked BYU women's soccer team will host Utah Valley in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday at 1 p.m. MST. It will mark the Cougars' fourth straight appearance in the tournament while the Wolverines will be making their tournament debut.
“The fact that we’re playing a local team means it’s going to be an amazing atmosphere,” said BYU coach Jennifer Rockwood. “I think we’ll get a great fan base and I think it’s going to be a great game, so we’re looking forward to it.”
Utah Valley (14-6-1) heads into Saturday's contest having won nine of its last 11 matches.
