"Air Force is always a very spirited team and competes well, so beating them today was a good win for us," BYU head coach Brad Pearce said.
The Cougars started off strong, winning the doubles point after junior Jeremy Bourgeois and sophomore Shane Monroe won, 6-4, in first doubles and senior Andrey Goryachkov and junior Jacob Sullivan recorded a 6-4 second doubles win.
