Looking to finish out the season with two more conference victories, BYU men’s tennis hits the road to play its final matches against Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount.
BYU (13-9, 6-1 West Coast Conference) is currently ranked second in conference standings, behind Portland and just above Pepperdine. The Cougars swept Saint Mary’s, 4-0, on Friday for the final home match of the season as BYU finished with a 10-2 record at home. Senior Jacob Sullivan and junior John Pearce won matches in both singles and doubles to help the Cougars to victory.
Pepperdine (9-8, 4-1 WCC) bested Santa Clara, 4-1, after falling to San Francisco, 4-2, on the road last weekend.
