BYU tennis: Cougars play final regular season matches on the road

Looking to finish out the season with two more conference victories, BYU men’s tennis hits the road to play its final matches against Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount.

BYU (13-9, 6-1 West Coast Conference) is currently ranked second in conference standings, behind Portland and just above Pepperdine. The Cougars swept Saint Mary’s, 4-0, on Friday for the final home match of the season as BYU finished with a 10-2 record at home. Senior Jacob Sullivan and junior John Pearce won matches in both singles and doubles to help the Cougars to victory.

Pepperdine (9-8, 4-1 WCC) bested Santa Clara, 4-1, after falling to San Francisco, 4-2, on the road last weekend.
