BYU takes tenuous 14-10 lead into halftime against San Jose State

BYU scored touchdown on its first two drives of the game, but a 61-yard pick-six from Cleveland Wallace with 21 seconds to go in the half pulled San Jose State within 14-10 against the Cougars at halftime at Spartan Stadium in San Jose, Calif., Friday night.

The Cougars chewed up 155 yards on 27 plays on their first two drives, which ended with a 4-yard TD pass from Tanner Mangum to Mitch Mathews and a 5-yard scoring run from Algernon Brown.

San Jose State added a field goal on its first drive to take an early 3-0 lead.
