Luis Ventura and Stephen Richards showed strong performances in helping BYU wrap up a win at the Pacific Invite on Saturday at the Kjeldsen Pool in Stockton, California.
The Cougars took first among men’s teams at the invitational, posting a score of 1061 to beat Pacific (900), Fresno Pacific (381) and Cal Berkeley (317). Cal only participated in the first day of the meet.
“We won the meet first and foremost which is great,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “Luis Ventura did a great job in the distance events for us, and Stephen Richards did great in his events as well.
