In its first official meet of the season, BYU swim and dive showed a strong outing on the first day of the Colorado Mesa Invite at the El Pomar Natatorium on Friday night.
“Ellie Thornbrue and Kelly Hatanaka did a great job in their events tonight, as did Jake Taylor and Preston Jenkins,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “As far as tomorrow goes, we want to be a little cleaner on our turns and relay exchanges. Overall, we had good times but we have some technical things that we need to be a little cleaner on.
