Alexa Strid totaled nine RBIs in three games this weekend as BYU softball picked up a win over Salt Lake Community College on Friday and swept Boise State in a doubleheader on Saturday.
Led by Strid’s 4-for-4 performance, BYU softball defeated Salt Lake Community College, 11-0, at Gail Miller Field on Friday night.
The teams played eight innings in order to allow multiple pitchers adequate playing time.
The Cougars’ highest scoring outputs came in the second and seventh innings. In the bottom of the second, RBIs from Strid, Caitlyn Larsen Alldredge and Rylee Jensen gave BYU the early 3-0 advantage.
