Ashley Hatch, Brittain Dearden Steiner and Madie Lyons each scored goals Saturday night as White beat Blue, 3-0, in the Blue/White scrimmage at South Field.
"This was a good opportunity to see what we have to work with," BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood said. "We have a lot of players returning and a lot of options. We saw some good things from our newcomers."
Hatch put White on the board in the 23rd minute of the first 35-minute half, as teammate Nadia Gomes drew out Blue goalkeeper Hannah Clark and passed to Hatch, who scored with her left foot.
