LAS VEGAS — For BYU starting safeties Kai Nacua and Michael Wadsworth, this is the right place to end a season — and, in Wadsworth's case, a career.
Nacua, a junior, grew up in Las Vegas and played at Liberty High. Wadsworth, a senior, is a 2009 graduate of Silverado High in Las Vegas.
And they both will play big roles for the Cougar defense when BYU faces No. 20 Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl Saturday (1:30 p.m., MST, ABC).
For them, this isn’t only a bowl game and a rivalry game. This is a homecoming, too.
