Several Olympic Sports teams were in action this weekend, including BYU Track and Field breaking school records.
Hockey
BYU Hockey participated in the Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League from Thursday through Friday in the annual conference tournament. On Thursday, the Cougars faced off against UVU in the first round of the tournament. The Cougars scored first, but the Wolverines would tie things up and eventually lead at 3-2 after the first period. However, the Cougars woke up in the second period, and scored three quick goals to go up 5-3. The Cougars eventually won the first round game by a score of 6-3.
