BYU Offense Shines In First Half As Cougars Blow Out Idaho State

BYU jumped out to a 42-7 halftime lead and tacked on some more points in the second half as they beat Idaho State 59-14 Saturday afternoon in LaVell Edwards Stadium.

Jaren Hall threw for 298 yards and had 5 total touchdowns — all in the first half — and Puka Nacua added 6 catches for 120 yards and 1 TD of his own. Tyler Allgeier got a well deserved rest and had just 6 carries for 35 rushing yards, 1 TD, and 46 receiving yards.

Keanu Hill has been BYU’s number 5 WR this year and had the best game for the reserves with 4 catches for 92 yards and one receiving touchdown.
