One of BYU Men’s Volleyball’s two open assistant coaching spots is now filled.
On Wednesday, Head Coach Shawn Olmstead announced that Micah Naone will serve as a full-time assistant coach. He spent last season as a volunteer coach for the Cougars.
BYU lost both assistant coaches from last season. One assistant, Jaylen Reyes, has moved on to become an assistant for Nebraska’s powerhouse women’s team. The other, Luka Slabe, will fill a spot on the USA Volleyball Women’s National Team staff.
Naone is from Hawaii, where he played with Jaylen Reyes at Kamehameha High School.
