BYU announced Tuesday that Steve Magelby has been hired as the assistant coach of the BYU men’s soccer team.

"It’s a pleasure for me to invite Steve to be part of the BYU men’s soccer staff,” head coach Brandon Gilliam said. “I have known Steve for 13 years and he brings a great amount of knowledge and passion to the game. He has a love for BYU soccer and has shown great commitment to the program and its players.”

Magelby is excited for the position as well.
