Just over a month after the football team signed a NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) agreement with Built Bar, all of BYU’s Female Student Athletes have a similar agreement with the Provo-based company SmartyStreets.
BYU’s official release said it could pass the $2,000,000 in value to BYU’s 300 female athletes. More from BYU’s official release:
“Under the agreement with SmartyStreets, each female student-athlete will be compensated up to $6,000 for sharing about SmartyStreets on their social media accounts and participating in various company events and activities. With more than 300 female athletes at BYU, the total compensation could surpass $2 millions.
