It was a good week for most the former Cougars in the league this week. For the first time this season all BYU alums that were active and not offensive lineman recorded some kind of meaningful statistic.
Ziggy Ansah rebounded from his first quiet performance of the year last week with another big performance in Week 7. Ansah recorded four tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and three QB hits in another losing effort for the Lions. Ansah also helped fellow BYU alum, Kyle Van Noy, pick up the first sack of his young NFL career.
On one of his tackles, Ansah chased down Vikings' RB Adrian Peterson on a 75-yard run to save a touchdown.
