BYU Hoops Falls to Pepperdine, 4th in WCC

After overcoming a slow start, BYU managed a come-from-behind win against Loyola Marymount, which many thought may have gotten the Cougars going in a wide open West Coast Conference.

However, just days later, they fell to Pepperdine 71-65 and 4th place in the WCC. They are 1-2 since their signature defeat of Gonzaga on the road in Spokane.

BYU shot less than 36%, including a 2 for 9 performance from Kyle Davis, who has shot over 50% on the season. Guard play was inconsistent as well: Seljaas, who went 1 for 5 on his shots, and Fischer who was 2 for 8 on 3 point attempts.
