Three days after its last meet, BYU gymnastics hosts No. 17 Southern Utah and concludes regular-season competition Monday night at the Smith Fieldhouse.
“I think it will be a bit of a challenge,” BYU head coach Guard Young said. “We haven’t done a Friday-Monday meet turnaround. We will work, refocus and prepare for our competition.”
In their first meeting of the season, the then-ranked No. 13 Thunderbirds edged the Cougars, 194.825 to 194.450, on Feb. 17, in Cedar City. BYU led at the end of the second and third rotations, but Southern Utah pulled away with the victory.
