In the first of BYU gymnastics’ two final home meets, the team hosts Arizona on Friday night at the Smith Fieldhouse.
“It’s always nice to come home and have great support from our fans,” BYU head coach Guard Young said. “Arizona is well-coached and has some great talent. We want to roll straight punches at them—they hit and we hit.”
The Cougars fell to Minnesota, 196.050 to 195.000, on Saturday night after tying the score at the end of three rotations. Brittni Hawes and Jill van Mierlo earned a 9.875 on bars and beam, respectively.
