BYU golf: White leads No. 25 women to a tie for fourth place after day one

Behind a top-10 first day finish from Alexandra White, No. 25 BYU women's golf is tied for fourth place after 36 holes of play at The Gold Rush.

"We had a rough start," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. "We will make some adjustments and go for a good round tomorrow."

White shot 2-under par in the first round and 4-over par in the second round to finish at 146 (+2) after the first day of play. White is tied for seventh place and birdied five holes on the day.

Lauren Atkinson and Rose Huang are tied for 17th place overall at 4-over par.
