BYU golf: No. 45 women's golf tied for eighth after day one of SMU Trinity Forest Invitational

No. 45 BYU women’s golf is tied for eighth place after two rounds of the SMU Trinity Forest Invitational on Monday at Trinity Forest Golf Club.

"It is a very tough course, and I feel like we made some needed adjustments in the second round," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. "It's going to be tough tomorrow, so we need to stay patient and put ourselves in good positions to score."

The Cougars fired 306-303 to shoot +33 through two rounds of action. No. 27 Houston sits atop the leaderboard at +10.

Rose Huang led the Cougars and is tied for 13th place after day one.
