Behind three top-20 finishes from Kendra Dalton, Rose Huang and Alexandra White, No. 31 BYU women's golf sits in second place after the first round of The Gold Rush hosted by Long Beach State on Monday.
Teams were originally scheduled to complete two rounds Monday, but play was suspended due to darkness. The final few holes of round two will be played Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. MST, before the third round begins.
"I was pleased with our play," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. "We got off to a rocky start, but we are a resilient team, and once we settled in we were OK.
