BYU golf: Cougars to compete in The Gold Rush

BYU women’s golf looks to officially kick off its spring season as the team competes Monday and Tuesday in The Gold Rush at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, California.

Hosted by Long Beach State, the Cougars will participate in The Gold Rush along with 14 other teams. Gonzaga will also represent the West Coast Conference in the event. The course is a par-72, and teams will play two 18-hole rounds Monday and the last 18 holes Tuesday.

The Cougars are coming off a head-to-head win against Colorado State last week. Annie Yang finished with the lowest score individually as she shot 3-under par through 54 holes.
