No. 31 BYU men’s golf sits in fifth place after the second round of the John Burns Intercollegiate on Friday evening.
"We started poorly and made a lot of mistakes early," BYU head coach Bruce Brockbank said, "but fortunately we made some birdies on the back nine and we were able to bounce back and shoot under par after our poor front nine. Hopefully we can have our best round tomorrow."
The Cougars fired a team score of 286 (-2) on Friday to move to -6 for the tournament. BYU ended the first nine shooting +7 as a team, followed by shooting -9 on the back nine.
