Ugly. Embarrassing. Disappointing. All those words describe Friday night’s debacle.
Tanner Mangum threw an early pick 6 and the Utah State Aggies never looked back in a 45-20 beatdown of BYU at Lavell Edwards Stadium.
BYU looked outcoached, outworked, and out-executed in every facet of the game. The Cougars lost the turnover battle 3-0, and the Aggie offense ran and passed all over the BYU defense into the end zone.
BYU’s ground game was shut down once again, as they finished with a dismal 39 rushing yards (26 of those were on a scramble by Zach Wilson on the final drive).
