BYU fullback/running back Algie Brown has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Seattle Seahawks.
Brown played running back his first 3 years at BYU before switching to fullback his senior year in Ty Detmer’s pro-style offense. For his career, Brown ran for 1,310 yards and 13 touchdowns. His best statistical year came in 2015, when he ran for 709 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Brown is power runner who showed good receiving skills out of the backfield at times during his BYU career. He was often the lead blocker for running back Jamaal Williams this past season, and will have to be a fullback at the NFL level if he wants to make a roster.
