"There are a lot of different paths I could go to describe the first year, but it was just fun for me, mostly," Tuiaki said Monday before the Cougars practiced at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, Calif. "Fun, because the staff around me and the players have been awesome."
Tuiaki said safeties coach Ed Lamb, the former head coach at Southern Utah, deserves as much credit as he does, along with defensive line coach Steve Kaufusi and cornerbacks coach Jernaro Gilford.
"I don't proclaim to have any answers," Tuiaki said. "I love that our staff is all humble, and we all throw our ideas into a pot, and just do what is best.
