Provo • BYU football player Josh Weeks has been suspended from participating in all team activities after he was arrested earlier this week for violating a stalking order.
Weeks, a tight end from Show Low, Ariz., was released from the Utah County Jail on Tuesday after posting $1,943 in bail and was suspended later that day.
Court documents show that an Orem woman who is a student at Utah Valley University took out a stalking injunction against Weeks, a sophomore who played sparingly last season as a receiver, on March 4.
