Taysom Hill's 8-yard touchdown run with 48 seconds left in the second quarter gives BYU a 10-3 lead heading into halftime against Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium on Saturday.
In a first half where yards and points were tough to come by, BYU drove 92 yards on 13 plays in just over six minutes to take the lead over the Bearcats with Hill's sixth touchdown run of the season. A 43-yard flea flicker pass to Jonah Trinnaman helped set up the score.
The Cougars did not go over 100 total yards until a Jamaal Williams 8-yard run with just under seven minutes remaining in the second quarter, the first play of the touchdown drive.
