BYU football received a commitment from 2021 wide receiver Quenton Rice on Friday afternoon, a senior from Faith Lutheran High School (Las Vegas, NV).
Quenton is the son of former BYU defensive back Rodney Rice, who played for the Cougars from 1986-88 and was drafted by the New England Patriots. Rodney was an All-WAC performer during both of his seasons at BYU.
Quenton is 6-foot-1, 170 pounds and also competes in track and basketball. He recorded an 11.10 in the 100-meter and 22.34 in the 200 meter. Quenton is an under-the-radar speedster who is a bit raw, but coaches will look to turn his physical traits into a contributor at wide out.
