Utah made a late push for Chase Roberts, but the American Fork Wide Receiver kept with his 18-month verbal commitment to the Cougars and officially signed with BYU.
BYU is getting one of the most productive and dynamic players in the state of Utah. After a junior campaign where he had 1,200 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns, Roberts elevated those numbers even more as a senior. In 13 games played this season, Roberts tallied 97 receptions, 1771 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. His big season earned him a spot in the prestigious Under Armour All-American Bowl.
Roberts burst onto the recruiting scene even more back in May after receiving WR MVP honors at Nike’s The Opening in Canton, Ohio.
