One of the top QB’s in the country is heading to Provo, as 2019 4-Star QB Jacob Conover committed to BYU. Conover announced the commitment via his twitter account.
Conover had BYU and hometown Arizona State in his final two, and also had offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Arizona, Washington State, among many other schools.
Conover said that he is “100 percent” going on a LDS mission before he enrolls in school, so we won’t be seeing him on the field until 2021. It’s hard to predict who will be the starting QB when Conover returns home, but promising QB’s Zach Wilson and Jaren Hall will either be seniors or redshirt juniors when Conover returns home.
