BYU added the 15th player to its 2019 recruiting class as 3-Star Lehi tight end Trey Andersen committed to BYU. Andersen announced his commitment via Twitter.
After sitting behind current BYU tight end Dallin Holker as a junior, Andersen had a chance to show off his skill set for Lehi High School during his senior season. Andersen finished the season with 28 receptions for 487 yards and 2 touchdowns, but his versatility and body type may be most intriguing aspects to the BYU coaching staff.
In addition to his pass catching skills, Andersen was also asked to line up and block quite a bit in the Lehi offense.
