Jackson Kaufusi, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound agile outside linebacker prospect out of Brighton High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for BYU. Kaufusi's road to BYU was a bumpy one, previously having had his original offer pulled by former BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall a couple months ago and excluding the Cougars from his top three. Kaufusi received a new offer from new head coach Kalani Sitake recently and surprisingly committed to the Cougars just over a week ago.
Kaufusi is a three-star prospect and the 25th ranked high school prospect out of the state of Utah according to the 247Sports Composite.
