The BYU football program has received another commitment from a skill player out of Texas for the 2018 recruiting class.
Wide receiver Jaren Mitchell out of Hebron High School in Lewisville, Texas, announced his pledge to the Cougars on Friday, less than a month after running back Josh Oglesby of Katy High School did so.
Mitchell's relationship with BYU began during his freshman year when he started being trained by former Cougars wide receiver Margin Hooks. The prospect received a scholarship offer from BYU last fall (his first offer), and he has built a strong relationship with the coaching staff since then.
